This motorcycle has been sold to an individual in England who plans to perform a proper restoration on it. Sorry to all those who have contacted me about it recently but it is officially sold.

Okay, don’t get too excited at the prospect of purchasing a 1963 Bonneville for $4000.
Although this isn’t a complete bike, it is certainly a great head start on the restoration of one of Triumph Motorcycles rarer and most valuable models. Recent sales of fully restored 1963 Bonnevilles are in the high teens as seen with this ’63 Bonnie currently listed for sale at Baxter Cycle for $18,750.
Here we offer a complete frame, rear section and shocks and a fully restored engine and gearbox. The frame and engine numbers match as shown in the pictures below.
The engine was restored by non-other than Leroy Turner whose exceptional restoration work is something that readers of our website are fully familiar with.
The Leroy Turner restored engine is .60 over with new Hepolite pistons. It is ready for installation in the frame.
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to purchase the many readily available remaining parts it needs as well as find the front end, sheet metal and other somewhat rare parts to complete the restoration.
We just don’t have the time and energy to complete this bike and it is time to move it on to someone who does. With the addition of the beautiful Dave Wedlake ’63 Bonneville to our collection (below), we don’t have the need for another one.
The bike is currently at our summer home in Redmond, Washington. We have a clear Washington state title in hand.
We may be offering the bike on EBay if not sold in the next few weeks.
